ERIN HUFFSTUTTER | THE MESA MAVEN

Erin is a writer, entrepreneur, community organizer and – most importantly – Costa Mesa Superfan! She’s simply mad for this marvelous Mesa On The Coast and all the creative, independent, amazing, everyday things happening in our sunny backyard. When she’s not busy hearting Costa Mesa, Erin’s trail running, reading, copywriting, web designing and kinda-sorta gardening. She lives with her husband, two kids and guinea pig…in Costa Mesa, of course!

BRANDY YOUNG | PHOTOGRAPHER

Brandy is our resident CMA* photographer. She loves shooting the simple sweetness of everyday life: which makes her the perfect fit for I Heart Costa Mesa! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a photographer who works harder, or cares more. When she doesn’t have a camera in front of her face, you’ll find Brandy with her nose in a book, her family in her arms, or her toes in the sand. (Sometimes all at once!)

*Costa Mesa Adjacent: Brandy lives at the very edge of Huntington Beach, 989 steps away from Costa Mesa. (Yes, we counted!)

GREG HUFFSTUTTER | MISTER MESA

“Hey, Mister!” Mister Mesa, Greg Huffstutter, is our human guinea pig – and he’s up for anything!

When he’s not adventuring, Greg is busy loving family life, beach volleyball, stand-up comedy, street tacos, Irish music, Krav Maga, Morning Becomes Eclectic, Nathan Fillion, Fletch novels, and mediocre baseball teams (aka the San Diego Padres).

If you have an idea for something – in Costa Mesa – he should try, send ideas to: heymister@iheartcostamesa.com

BRADLEY ZINT | CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Bradley Zint is a writer for I Heart Costa Mesa. He worked for the Daily Pilot for nearly eight years as a reporter and editor, spending several of those years extensively covering Costa Mesa and sitting through more public hearings than anyone should. As a result, there are few nooks of town he didn’t write about and/or visit. He also lived in various parts of Costa Mesa throughout that period before moving to a less-interesting city.

SAMANTHA CHAGOLLAN | CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Samantha is a writer and creative gal who has lived all over Costa Mesa for the last 15 years, from the West Side to the East Side and a few places in between too. As a freelance writer and marketing consultant, she helps small businesses tell their stories. She’s written a few fun books for kids too. When she’s not crafting a new story, you can probably find her on her yoga mat, getting messy with some paint, or exploring the culinary delights of Costa Mesa with her husband and two very curious dogs.

BEN SAUER | CONTENT COORDINATOR

Ben is an Eastside Costa Mesa resident, by way of Portland, Oregon. When he’s not creating costamazing content for I Heart Costa Mesa, you’ll find him skateboarding (he’s an endorsed skateboarder) or drumming (for the band Widows Gold) or coordinating social media–freelance style–for local small businesses.
