“My husband and I just moved over to a house on the Westside, right by the In-N-Out. That’s really dangerous because every night when we start to think about what’s for dinner, we look at each other and say,’Or, we could just walk down the street to In-N-Out. That seems easier.’

“I love the character on the Westside. When I was in college at Vanguard we did a lot of work with Mika over there and I just really love that part of town. The people, the small businesses… it’s a very artsy-feeling community. We’ve got Hurley and all those action-sports companies; they add a great vibe. It’s a good place to live.

“Because we’re new to the neighborhood, it’s been really fun meeting our neighbors. I want to start doing barbecues or just other things to bond with my neighbors. I think, in general, people on the Westside need more opportunities to gather and connect.”
